From a village announcement

The Village of Onekama has announced that it is working to update its master plan, and the first meeting to address strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) will be held at 6 p.m. tonight (June 25) inside the Farr Center at 5283 Main St.

“This is an important step in the strategic planning process, and the result will be a community-driven vision for sustainable growth and thoughtful land use planning, with an effort to revitalize and encourage (re)investment,” read a statement in the announcement.

Residents are asked attend public listening sessions and complete an online survey (forthcoming), and share their vision for the village. The master plan will be updated using feedback from community members.
