Patina announces relocation

Patina is relocating to downtown Manistee. The move closes an important chapter for the creative retail and gallery space that has been a familiar fixture in the village of Onekama.

“We are excited to be in the ‘big city’ and anticipate new collaborations, and continued support of local art and creativity,” said owner Nikki Schneider.

Though the move was unexpected, Schneider said Patina’s next chapter is already underway.

Customers can find Patina in its new space at the ruddiblush Gallery, 321 River St., when it opens in July. Gallery owner and artist Paulette Juncker will refocus her energies on her studio work. Schneider added that Patina will “proudly continue carrying the beautiful collection” Juncker and her daughter, Laura, created.

Known for its mix of art, vintage finds, local artists and immersive atmosphere, Patina evolved from a shop into a destination for inspiration, conversation and discovery.

“Patina brought a different kind of energy to its corner of Onekama,” said owner Nikki Schneider. “It became a place people intentionally sought out, and I’m deeply grateful for the community that formed around it.”
