    Advertisement for Wood, Waves and Ways, a local artist paints the Ludington State Park, a show of Marie Marfia's pastel paintings on display from July 13 through August 14 at Timeless Picture Framing and Gallery, 103 East Ludington Avenue, Ludington, Michigan. The image is a pastel painting of four partial pine trees. All are in front of blue sky fading to rosy pink at the horizon with a sliver of blue, probably Lake Michigan, beneath it and sand. The pine tree in the center is catching sunlight and is brighter at the top. Hours of the gallery and frame shop are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday thru Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
