The Underground Railroad Memorial in Kellogg House Park, Battle Creek, is the largest in the U.S. at 28 feet long and 14 feet high. On one side, Harriet Tubman leads people north to freedom. On the opposite side, Sarah and Erastus Hussey bring escaped slaves into their Battle Creek home. Photo: Grace Grogan.
