FRANKFORT, Mich. – Hundreds of artworks by local and regional artists will be on display from June 27 through July 26 during the Oliver Art Center’s annual Member Exhibit to be held in the center’s gallery at 132 Coast Guard Rd.

“Our member exhibitions are always remarkable for their breadth of styles and the depth of quality from our local artists,” Executive Director Tamara Hoffbauer said. “Being able to showcase the talent of our own membership, many of whom are local residents, is a highlight of the summer for us”.

The exhibit will open with a public reception on Friday, June 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. As a special thank you to its supporters, the Oliver Art Center is offering current members a 10% discount on all gallery purchases made during the reception.

A portion of the sales made during the month-long exhibition will help fund the art center’s programming.

According to the release, a “significant portion” of the center’s 1,000 members are artists. They are given two opportunities each year to display their works in the gallery.

The Oliver Art Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting art and culture in the community. The center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
