Singer-songwriter May Erlewine  is well known in Michigan and beyond as a gifted songwriter who “carries the torch of the folk-singer activist,” according to a statement on her website. She frequently performs with others, including the Sweet Water Warblers and Joshua Davis.

With his celebrity from his TV appearances on “The Voice” mostly behind him, Joshua Davis continues to delight audiences with his songwriting and musical ability. He has five award-winning solo albums as well as many more recorded musical collaborations . He has taught at Interlochen Arts Academy and continues to perform solo and with others.

Singer-songwriter and musician Seth Bernard is Northern Natural’s music curator and has booked most of the music heard on its stage in recent years.

“I’m proud to be a part of all of good times going down at Northern Natural,” Bernard stated. “Like my family farm, Northern Natural is a family-owned business that’s supporting lots of other local businesses that are part of an active artisan community that endures among the woods and waters of Northern Michigan.”

According to the release, concertgoers will hear some of the same musicians that have performed previously on the Northern Natural Summer Concert Series stage, along with some new faces and other musicians that have performed there more recently.

“… Northern Natural has been recognized as one of the go-to spots in Michigan for summer music,” Bernard added. “As a performer, (I have found) Northern Natural provides a top-notch atmosphere for excellent musicians to share their craft and it’s a welcoming, accepting place that supports a culture of appreciation for the abundance of our region.”

“It’s a pretty intimate atmosphere, where the artists interact with the guests quite a bit,” Wardie commented.

Northern Natural thanks its music partners: Michigan Rocks Radio, Motel Bear Lake, Zupin Industrial, Danner Painting, D.J. Niesen and Son’s Excavating, Benzie-Manistee Snowbirds, Onekama EZ Mart and Zupin Crane.

The full music schedule can be found on Northern Natural’s website, HERE, and Facebook events’ page: HERE.  For more information, call them at 231-889-0064.
